Wumba
What is Wumba Kids Camp?
Waterloo MB Church hosts a full-day camp over four weeks during the summer. Families are invited to register their children for one or two of the four weeks. Wumba Kids Camp is held at our facility (245 Lexington Rd., Waterloo) as well as at the Lexington Sports Fields down the road. Day Camp replaces our past VBS (Vacation Bible School) summer program.
Our dream is that children from various backgrounds will experience the transforming love of Jesus through friendships, scripture, and leaders who choose to invest in them.

When is Wumba Kids Camp?
Watch for details about Summer 2012 in the Spring.
All weeks of camp run from Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. If you are unable to drop your child off or pick them up at these times, please contact us and we will do our best to help you make alternate arrangements.
* Please note that there will be no camp on the Civic Holiday, Monday, August 1.
Who is invited to register?
Wumba is a camp experience that is available to children who will be entering grades 1 to 6 in the fall of 2011 from families:
+ who live in our neighbourhood
+ who live on low or limited income
+ who attend WMB
To make this possible, we are reserving the majority of our registration spaces for these families. We will consider a few spaces for children in other situations.
How to Register:
Watch for details in Spring 2012.
How much does it cost?
We want to make sure that Wumba Kids Camp is affordable for everyone, so we offer a sliding scale of payment options. Upon registration, families are asked to select the price that they are able to pay for the week of camp. 2011 options included: $60, $30, and $20
