Bryant's Story, February 13-23, 2009

Lionel, one of the young boys of Pan de Vida, took a real liking to one of the team members, Bryant. On the last day, Lionel gave Bryant a gift. It was a picture of Lionel’s sister from a Pan de Vida brochure that had been carefully clipped out and stored in his backpack. The picture is creased and dirty from Lionel carrying it with him everywhere. Bryant was blown away by Lionel’s generosity and in the moment, Bryant experienced God’s love through Lionel.

Amy's Story

Amy loves to create a warm and caring space for our youngest children to learn about God's great love for us. Over the years, she has appreciated the way WMB as a family strives to meet the practical needs of those in our community. When she was approached about becoming the volunteer coordinator for the nursery, toddler and preschool rooms, she saw it as a great way to practically get involved in children's ministry. For 10 years Amy worked in a local daycare as an early childhood educator, and now she is at home with her own small children.
