Our Missions Story:
There are some exciting developments in oral Scripture use with the introduction of the Saber Audio players. These have been wonderful tools for empowering illiterate believers to share the Scriptures with their neighbours in the scattered Turka villages. Daniel in Toumousseni had been a believer for ten years, and never had the courage to share the Gospel with his friends and family. Now he goes from courtyard to courtyard playing the three-hour long chronological teaching we recently completed. Within a few months he has played this entire recording for over 500 Turka, and many others are now eager to hear this message.

Our Prayer Items:

• For several years now, Dot has been experiencing neurological problems which affect her mobility. Despite having seen several specialist, a diagnosis eludes us. Please pray that a neurologist will take a special interest in her case and pursue this "interesting case" until some answers are found.
• Pray for the Turka believers that they would grow in their love for God, for one another, and for their communities. Pray that God would raise up leaders in their midst who would serve their people in teaching God's Word.
• Remember the Translation/Evangelism Committee as the members learn their important role in Scripture checking and that they would have a vision to make use of the translated Turka materials available to them in audio and written format.
• Pray for us as we travel back and forth to Burkina Faso several times a year, and for good internet connections for the rest of the year as we work from Canada.
