Our Missions Story:
From the letter of one of the Senegalese translators:

After translating Luke’s gospel, I am personally able to pray in my mother tongue at last. I had completed theological training in French to become a pastor, but I could not pray in my mother tongue. Since I have begun doing so, I feel that my heart is communing with God. What I can’t say in French, I am now able to tell the Lord.

A member of the translation team became a believer through translating the Word. The changes in his life had been such that the members of his family wanted to know the reason. The team organized a session to test the translation at this team member’s village. During the session his family was full of questions about the gospel they were hearing for the first time.
