Rwanda | Waterloo MB Church

WMB and International Teams work together to serve the community of Kigali, Rwanda and the refugee camp located at Kiziba, Rwanda. Through this partnership, people from WMB work with the local church to serve street children, support women transitioning out of prostitution, and do Pastoral Training. WMB has been committed to this relationship since 2005, and the experiences of Rwanda continue to challenge and grow members of the WMB community.

This summer while in Rwanda, my team had the opportunity to build a house for a widow named Veronique in a tiny rural village. For five days we carried bricks, slung mud, and most importantly, built relationships with people who lived in the village.

Fred, the pastor of a small rural church in Rwanda, approached me after one of our teaching sessions.
