Pan de Vida

WMB works with Children of Hope ministries to serve the Pan de Vida Orphanage in Querétaro, Mexico. WMB has been sending teams to do construction work there for the last ten years. Through this partnership, we are able to serve with our hands while receiving powerful blessings from the stories and actions of the Pan de Vida children.

Bryant's Story, February 13-23, 2009

Lionel, one of the young boys of Pan de Vida, took a real liking to one of the team members, Bryant. On the last day, Lionel gave Bryant a gift. It was a picture of Lionel’s sister from a Pan de Vida brochure that had been carefully clipped out and stored in his backpack. The picture is creased and dirty from Lionel carrying it with him everywhere. Bryant was blown away by Lionel’s generosity and in the moment, Bryant experienced God’s love through Lionel.
