
Up In The Air
Jesus' resurrection was fundamental to the early teaching about Jesus and was the foundation on which the early church was built. Crucifixion was not uncommon in the first century, but Jesus' resurrection was what identified Him as the Messiah and qualified Him to save others. It was this dual conviction, that Jesus was the Christ and that God raised Him from the dead, that energized the Apostle's teaching and accounted for the rise of Christianity in the early church movement.
