In the deepest places of our beings, there is a longing in us to hear from God. When others speak of hearing His voice, we wonder why we don’t. Talk of ‘quiet times’, or ‘30 minutes with God in scripture’, might bring images of sitting and hearing nothing! Are there moments with God we’re missing, because we’re not aware of his presence in the ordinary places of our lives? Scripture shows us that God is always with us, and finds us throughout the moments of our days. We just need to learn to recognize him!
