Invitations are sent out through various local social agencies to be distributed to those who would benefit from this ministry.

Parents are invited to the ‘From Jesus With Love' Christmas Party where new toys, generously donated by Waterloo MB's congregation, are set up as if in a store. Parents are then able to go ‘shopping' for one gift for each of their children. Volunteers help the parents navigate through the ‘store', select the perfect gift and then proceed to the gift wrapping area where each gift is wrapped by volunteers. While the parents wait for their turn to go "shopping", they enjoy Christmas music provided by a live band and baked goodies provided by our congregation. At the end of the evening, parents are given a gift basket.

Children are also welcome to attend the party. Fun and exciting children's games are provided such as basketball and hockey shoot, ring toss, face painting and Play Station video games. This allows the parents to shop for their children while they are busy playing games. Throughout the entire evening, we have a team of people praying not only for the event, but for each parent and child BY NAME!!!

The From Jesus With Love event on December 11, 2007, saw over 280 families come to the party and 831 children receive a gift.
