From Jesus With Love Print E-mail
fjwl_gift.gifFrom Jesus with Love (FJWL) a ministry of Barnabas Missions, aims to share God's love in practical ways at Christmas by providing parents free gifts for their children. Parents needing help can come, "shop" for gifts, and have them wrapped while enjoying baked goods, live music and childcare. Our 2008 FJWL Christmas party is Tuesday, December 9.

There are lots of ways to be involved in this exciting ministry! Download a 2008 brochure and volunteer form here.

MCRS Winter Party Print E-mail

snowflake.jpgWMB is sponsoring the Mennonite Coalition for Refugee Support's Winter Party on December 6! Refugee and new Canadian families come together to celebrate the changing seasons and share a time of food, music and cultural dancing.

We are looking for individuals willing to prepare a pan of lasagna (drop it off at the church prior to the event), and volunteers to assist with set up, basic meal prep, serving food, helping with the children's program and the clean up afterwards. The time commitment depends on your role - set up begins at 4pm and clean up will finish by 10pm. If you are interested in helping in any of these areas, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
