It is our goal to not only offer tools that may enhance participant's life skills, but to also create a community of people who love and care for each other. The vision behind 3 Strands is tied to Eccles 4:10-12, “If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken”. The goal is to foster mutual relationships and a sense of community while together learning skills that the entire group can benefit from.
