Our society is ripe with gripers, complainers and arm chair quarterbacks. It is easy to scrutinize and talk about all the problems in the world, but what we really need is less talk and more action - people who would be willing to do something about it!!

In the Bible, the Old Testament talks about such a man.  His name was Nehemiah. When he became aware of a desperate situation, he was driven to tears, driven to his knees in prayer and then driven to take action! He left his well paying, prestigious job and followed what God wanted him to do - lead the Jewish people in repairing and restoring the walls around the city of Jerusalem.  But we have to wonder:  was it really only about a construction project, or did God have something more in mind for Nehemiah and His people?
