Youth Ministry at WMB is all about "freedom to discover and serve Jesus Christ"

If you are in grades 9, 10, 11, or 12, here's what you need to know:

Sr. Youth Sunday School: Sundays, 9-10:15am …worship, the Bible - specifically the Book of Acts.

Sr. Youth Midweek Schedule: These midweek activities are taking on a whole new flavour this coming year (2009-10) with the main focus being on MISSION. Each week is something different...

Week 1: Fridays 7:00-9:00pm. Friday night gathering in the Gym. A time of worship, speaking, testimonies as to where God is at work in our lives and our serving ministries, some food and some fun.
Week 2: Wednesdays 7:00-9:00pm. MCC Warehouse, "Generations Thrift Store". We will be serving a ministry in our neighbourhood.
Week 3: Tuesdays 6:30-10:00pm. OASIS in Kitchener. Located behind the Morning Glory Cafe (256 King Street East), Oasis is a drop-in centre serving the homeless.We will prepare and serve meals, and serve where needed.
Week 4: Thursdays time TBA. Serving our Local Community. We continue to pursue a relationship with people at Kingscourt so watch for that. We will be looking at hands on serving in our community, at the Mall, at the retirement home within our neighbourhoods and we have a group looking for new opportunities to serve here all the time. Stay tuned!!

Sr. Youth Small Groups:  weekly ...These groups focus on the gathering in homes for Word, Worship, Fellowship, Prayer and Serving (Acts 2:42-47). Adult led, these are vibrant times of community, teaching, and sharing.
