Young Adults

Young Adults at WMB is a community of 18-26 year olds. We are students and working people, living with our parents and living on our own, video gamers and athletes, artists and scientists. We are all learning what it means to follow Jesus together in a world that offers many competing ways to fill up our schedules.

We want to be friends. We want to be disciples. We want to be leaders. We want to be servants. We want to build authentic community both at WMB and in the neighbourhoods and city where we live. This is a group of transition from "young" to "adult".

SPRING & SUMMER BBQS    celebration. food. stories. community.

     Tuesday Evenings. Uptown Waterloo Home.
We meet in a home for a free meal and fun. We think just being together is important, and so we can also handle your special dietary needs. This is a great way to connect into the group if you are new. Bring your friends. Enemies welcome. Contact Pete for time and location.

From May 1 to June 11:

We had a team of young adults on a mission and learning trip to Phuket, Thailand. Check out our blog to catch up on our journey!

We connect into the larger WMB church community during the summer at 10am on Sunday mornings, and serve around the church doing all kinds of things.
We connect into our city through work, school, clubs, sports, and volunteering. This is how we share and hear Good News with our neighbours.
