Choosing Joy - Paul McIlwraith with Ben Moir
"Now I want you to know". Paul uses this unique phrase to get to heart of his message to the church at Philippi. They had heard that Paul had been imprisoned and because of their great love for him, they were concerned for us safety. They wanted to know how he was doing and he responds to them, "Now I want you to know", and he goes on to share with them a surprising twist in his trials. Some good has actually come about because of his chains - people have actually come to see Jesus. Faith has been strengthened and confidence has been built among believers.
Can our trials and the "chains" we find ourselves in today serve the same purpose? Can God use them to advance the gospel and give courage to fellow Christ Followers? Listen in for a real example of how this is happening in our community. -
