At some point in our lives we journey into lonely places - perhaps it is physical move to another place, or perhaps it is loneliness within a relationship.  The Bible talks a great deal about these lonely places as exile - where we experience disorientation, disappointment and disillusionment.   The good news is that God wants to meet us in our exile and restores our hope!

The Gospel. Many of us have heard this phrase often but do we truly know what it means or what it is? In Luke 4, Jesus begins his public ministry with a message, a proclamation of His gospel to his hometown. Unfortunately, they rejected it because it seemed too ridiculous, it just wasn't what they were expecting. He flipped everything they had ever known "upside down". What is our reaction to the good news of Jesus today? Are we open to hearing the message that he has for us or are we like the Nazarenes... sceptical because it just doesn't make sense?
