Nehemiah 3 & 4
The beginning of a major community project or activity always seems to be an exciting time. Confidence and optimism are high and people are energized. But what happens when you are a few days into the endeavour? When obstacles and hindrances begin to pop up? When opposition seeks to throw a wedge into the unity of the team? When fatigue, frustration and bickering begin to seep into the mindset of the people? In the book of Nehemiah, in the bible, Nehemiah knew all about rallying the people to a cause and when opposition and disunity sought to derail the project of rebuilding the city of , Nehemiah got his strength and wisdom from God and he pointed his people to this same source of strength.Jerusalem

Nehemiah 6:1-14
Good versus Great. We are faced with so many choices throughout our day to day routine. Many activities vie for our time. How do we distinguish between those that are good uses of our time and those that are great? In the bible, Nehemiah was doing a great work for God and in the midst of his service, his enemies were looking to use any tactic to dissuade him from this important project. Join us as we observe how Nehemiah's enemies looked to distract, discredit and deceive Nehemiah and His workers from finishing their work. Nehemiah continued to rely on God to lead him through these difficult times and ultimately empower them to continue the rebuilding project on the wall and in their lives.
