Change. Why is it that we seem so adverse to change? In the Bible, we see Jesus sending his followers into the world with a certain set of instructions - in Luke 10, and then the instructions are tweaked a little bit in Luke 22. Why? Things have changed. The culture has changed in the three years Jesus ministered,  and some adjustments needed to be made.
The winds of change continue for the Church as we head into the third millennium. There is a growing awareness that we can't keep doing the same old things and expect the results to be different. If we are going to continue to be "salt and light" to the world as Jesus called us, the Church will have to do something different, we have to be something different! Join us in this series as we study scripture and our culture to discern how we, as Christ followers, can continue to make a significant and sustainable difference in our neighbourhoods, our cities and our world.
